The Stainless Steel Roof Flashing is an accessory placed on the terminal section of a Flue or a Twin Wall AIR Chimney System. Its function is to prevent the entry of rainwater.
Materials used: Stainless Steel 304 BA (EN 1.4301 – L20), Stainless Steel 316 BA (EN 1.4404 – L50) or Copper.
Thickness: 0.6 mm in 304 AISI (EN 1.4301), only 0.5 mm in 316 AISI (EN 1.4404).
It is composed of a base whose size varies depending on the diameter chosen, with an opening in the center with a cone, positioned at an angle relative to the base, that allows for the passage of the flue; it comes supplied, as standard, with a storm collar that is placed around the outside of the System, whose function is to keep the water off the cone.
Its use is intended at the point where the system passes through the roof, it therefore is a junction between the roof of the building and the Chimney System.
